F.A.Q.
Here will be a continually updated list of some of the common questions I receive! If you have a question regarding my artwork that you'd like to ask, please feel free to contact me by using the form under the Contact page.
What programs do you use?
I use several different digital art programs! Currently, I use Procreate on my iPad and Autodesk Sketchbook Pro on my desktop. These two programs have most of the functions I need. In the past, I've used: Manga Studio (which is now called Clip Studio Paint), Microsoft Paint, CorelDRAW, and Adobe Photoshop 7 and Adobe Photoshop CC. For my graphic design work I use Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.
For physical badges, I use my Cricut Maker Pro to cut out the art and backing paper.

What markers do you use?
The short answer: anything I can get my hands on! Over the years, I've used many different kinds of pens, markers, and inks to create my illustrations. My badges are made with Prismacolor markers (either the brush tip or the wide tip, I usually have both on hand), Micron pens, and Faber Castel brush tip markers. Detailing work is done with Gelly Roll gel pens.
How long have you been drawing?
I've been drawing since I was 1 and a half years-old! But I started taking my art more seriously in high school, which led me to art school in college. Currently, I use my art skills in my job as an industrial designer.
Can you draw my character for free?
No. I don't do requests.
How long does it take you to finish a commission?
The answer varies from day to day. During the school year, I attend university which involves a lot of art projects. My main rule is school comes first, so if it's a particularly stressful school week then it will be slower. In the summer I have an internship/job to attend to. If I don't complete your commission within a month please contact me regarding my progress.
Can I ask you about the progress of my commission, or does that bother you?
I always try to keep an open dialogue with my customers! Please message me if you have any questions or concerns about your commission. If it does become a daily occurrence, I might ask you to scale it back to a weekly one. Remember, I do have a life outside of the internet.
I don't have a paypal, can i send money in the mail?
I do not accept cash, checks, or other methods of payment at this time. The snail mail can be unpredictable with letters getting lost, stolen, or ruined, so I generally stick to digital payments. PayPal is the easiest way for me to receive payments at the moment, and it includes buyer and seller protections.
What's your paypal so I can send the payment?
I will not be giving you my PayPal, I will only be needing your PayPal email during the ordering process. This is because I use invoices. After I accept the commission, you will receive an invoice from me from which you can pay. The invoice will have the order details, shipping info, a brief terms of service, and contact info.
Can I draw you fan art?
Yes! I'm always super happy and excited to receive fan art of my characters. I try to remember to do a #fanartfriday when I receive enough for a small collection to show off :)
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I do! I have shipped to Canada, the United Kingdom, Spain, and more! However, International shipping is more expensive to cover shipping costs. Please be aware of this when pricing out your commission. Pricing for shipping varies based on size and weight of the package.
